Bryse is a PhD student, working with Professor Sujit Dey, on the Smart Transportation and Innovation Program. Prior to joining UCSD, Bryse received the BS and MS degrees in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2014 and 2019 respectively. Additionally, he was previously a software engineer at Qualcomm where his work focused on multi-networking for applications such as VoWifi, hardware accelerated protocol processing, and intelligent network selection.
Bryse’s research interests are focused around the application of machine learning to wireless communications. Outside of research he enjoys playing basketball, going to concerts, and exploring the outdoors through hiking or hanging out at the beach.
